National pundits and talking heads on TV are quick to dismiss Ohio, saying it’s not a battleground race. But they don’t see what I see.
Everywhere I go, folks are fired up like never before to flip this seat blue. The polls show me neck-and-neck with my opponents. And time and again, we post record-breaking fundraising numbers.
Look, this race will be tough. Republicans are already spending upwards of $80 million to keep this seat red. And every single one of my GOP opponents is a multi-millionaire.
But I know with enough grassroots support we can build the resources we need to overcome their attacks, flip this seat blue, and expand the Democratic Senate majority.
TOMORROW, April 13th marks our pre-primary FEC filing deadline. This is the last time our numbers will be made public before the general election, and it’s a big test of our team’s strength.
