It’s official. The January 6th Committee has enough evidence to refer Trump to the DOJ for criminal charges. 

“It’s absolutely clear that what President Trump was doing - what a number of people around him were doing - that they knew it was unlawful. They did it anyway.” - Rep. Liz Cheney 

It seems like there’s some hesitation from members in the committee. Are they worried that the DOJ can’t handle such a politicized case? Don’t they want to refer Trump for criminal charges?

Putting politics aside for a second, here’s the facts. A sitting U.S. president knowingly committed crimes to overturn the results of a free, fair, and democratic election and incited a violent attack on our nation’s Capital. The Jan 6th Committee has the facts. The proof.

History will look back at this as a critical moment in our nation’s history. A decision where we decided if a former President of the United States is above the law, immune from prosecution in a case where, oh, he just happened to launch an attempted overthrow of our government.

It’s time to set a precedent. Sign our petition and join me in demanding that the January 6th Committee refer Trump for criminal charges.
