Hello,
I’m coming to you personally to ask you to make a $7 contribution to the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee ahead of their mid-April deadline.
Let me explain why.
The DLCC is the only Democratic Party committee dedicated to electing Democrats to statehouses, building new majorities, and flipping seats from red to blue across the country. Their work is crucial in building our party’s power throughout the nation.
But state Republicans have already poured nearly $5 million into 2022 swing state legislative races – and as you read this, we're behind where we need to be to ensure we can build campaigns strong enough to take on the GOP and win.
This is an emergency. Can you chip in $7 or $25 before their mid-month deadline to help ensure the DLCC has the resources they need to elect state Democrats across the country in November?

I have no intention of letting Republicans take back the Senate. But it’s just as important for Democrats to win control of state legislatures across the country, where Republicans currently hold the majority.
Our state legislatures are the key to stopping state Republicans from stripping abortion rights, pushing anti-LGBT+ legislation, and passing voter suppression bills.
But in order for Democrats to compete at the state-level, we need to invest resources into the DLCC ahead of our critical midterm elections.
That’s why I’m asking you to donate to support state Democrats through the DLCC ahead of their mid-April deadline and this year’s midterm elections.
Can you donate just $7 now to the DLCC to ensure Democrats in states like yours and across the country have the resources they need to win in November?
Thanks,
Senator Chuck Schumer
P.S. Our Democrats in state legislatures urgently need you. Can you rush a $7 donation before the DLCC's critical mid-month deadline?
