SOLE ENDORSEMENT. This week, JD received Ohio Right to Life sole endorsement for his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.
“JD Vance is 100% percent pro-life and we are confident that he will not only advance the cause of life but defend the unborn from Planned Parenthood and their allies in our nation’s capital.
“JD Vance will be a great U.S. Senator,” said Marshal Pitchford, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Right to Life Society.
TIED FOR FIRST. JD flew up in the polls this week to land in a three-way tie. Breitbart reports:
J.D. Vance, a New York Times best-selling author, is tied for first place in the Ohio GOP Senate primary race, a new poll shows.
Vance, in recent weeks, has set out a bold “America First” policy agenda that bucks the state’s big business and political establishment. Notably, Vance refused to meet with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce as Gibbons, Mandel, Timken, and Dolan accepted the invite.
At the latest debate, Vance continued promoting his populist policy vision, endorsing plans to ban members of Congress and their families from trading stocks. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has yet to endorse the plan.

DON JR. NEWS. Donald Trump Jr. stopped by JD’s fundraiser last week, as The Columbus Dispatch reports. A couple weeks ago, Don Jr. defended JD on Twitter:
WITH BANNON. JD talked about him getting the sole endorsment from Ohio Right to Life on Steve Bannon’s War Room.
The Ohio Star covered the exciting news of the endorsement, as well.
In response [to Ohio Right to Life’s endorsement], Vance pledged to continue his unwavering dedication to the issue.
“I’m so honored to have Ohio Right to Life’s endorsement and support in this race,” said Vance. “For many years, Ohio Right to Life has been an incredible advocate for the unborn, for the elderly and for those who love the most valuable members of our community here in Ohio. I’ll be an advocate for all those people in the U.S. Senate and an ally of Ohio Right to Life as we fight for a day when our law and culture protects innocents as much as we know they should.”
The announcement could distinguish the venture capitalist and author of “Hillbilly Elegy” with GOP primary voters in the crowded race to succeed retiring U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, the AP wrote.
Vance’s intense focus on immigration — and particularly the drugs coming across the open southern border — is likely a winner of an issue for him in the home stretch ahead of the May 3 GOP primary for U.S. Senate in Ohio.
ON THE ROAD. JD held a few No BS Town Halls this week with special guest Steve Cortes! Cortes is a former Trump campaign advisor and Fox News host.
