Team —

That ballot measure is an essential component of our democracy that has provided vital support to communities across the country.

However, Mississippi’s legislative session just ended — and lawmakers failed to pass legislation to save the ballot measure, leaving the state’s citizens without access to direct democracy.

It’s becoming clear extremist legislators nationwide are dead set on stopping voters from deciding policy. Our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign is working against them to restore the ballot measure process, but we’re in need of resources. [[link removed]]

SUPPORT THE BALLOT MEASURE RESCUE CAMPAIGN → [[link removed]]Can you please chip in whatever you’re able today to prevent other state legislatures from going the way of Mississippi’s and ending the ballot measure? [[link removed]]

23 out of 24 of our ballot measure campaigns have succeeded in delivering progressive change on health care, workers’ rights, racial justice, and more. Extremist legislators are sabotaging this process because they know: when voters have the opportunity to decide, they win big.

We’re doing everything we can to protect voters’ decision power. Will you help fuel the Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign, team? [[link removed]]
