Today we watched history in the making as the Senate voted to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first Black woman to serve on the United States Supreme Court.

I know that Judge Jackson will serve the American people honorably. I know she'll bring her unique experience as a jurist, former public defender, and district judge to our country's highest court.

This is also a meaningful step forward in ensuring every branch of our government fully represents the lived experiences of all of its people.

I extend my sincerest congratulations to Ketanji Brown Jackson -- and I hope you'll join me. Add your name to join me in congratulating JUSTICE Ketanji Brown Jackson!
