Team, once again, Rep. Tony Gonzales has let us down.

Gonzales voted against The Affordable Insulin Now Act that would cap insulin prices at either $35 a month or 25% of an insurance plan's negotiated price, whichever is lower.

Thankfully, despite the efforts of representatives like Gonzales, the bill still passed in the House and we are one step closer to seeing affordable healthcare for all in Texas.

But Gonzales sent a message with his vote — a message that he is happy to leave people with diabetes and other chronic illnesses behind.

Over 2 million Texans live with diabetes and too many of those people are making painful choices every day about skipping or rationing their insulin.

Team, no one should have to choose between taking life-saving medication and putting food on the table or a roof over their head.

What possible explanation could Gonzales have for attempting to keep the people of TX-23 from being able to access affordable insulin?

It’s time we tell him that we hear him loud and clear and we will hold him accountable for decisions against affordable healthcare by voting him out of office this year.

Can you make a donation right now to power our fight to kick Tony Gonzales out of office so I can get to Washington and fight for people with diabetes and other chronic illnesses, their families, and every member of TX-23 and beyond?

Insulin is not a luxury and receiving the medication you are prescribed should not be a privilege.

We owe it to the millions of Texans living with diabetes and other chronic illnesses to make it as easy as possible for them to get the life-changing, life-saving treatment they need.

I’m ready to get to Washington and get things done. I’m ready to vote for bills like this with the people’s interests and needs behind me — and nothing else.

Make a donation right now to help power this campaign so I can get to Congress and do what Gonzales won’t — fight for the people of TX-23. [[link removed]]

Let’s get to work,
