This week, John took a trip down to Austin to meet with legislators and to start talking about policies that will help Texas families by bridging the gap between state and national policies. 

What we love about John is that he isn’t going to wait until we elect him to start working for us, team — he’s already putting in the hours to serve the people of TX-23.

John knows that to help Texas families, we have to be able to work together while fighting for bold policies that working families have been needing for years.

We have to begin building that strong bond between federal, state, and local leaders so all governments can work for the people. This trip was just the beginning of that mission for John.

John can’t wait to fight to empower Texas families by ensuring small business support, affordable, quality healthcare, long-term immigration reform with a path to citizenship, and more.

But to do that we need your help. For months like this, between the primary and the month or two before the general election, it can be difficult to build excitement and raise the money we need to keep the campaign going.
