What's going on this week for Atlanta DSA?

✊ Help Us Fight for $15 in Georgia ✊

Millions of workers put their lives on the line daily for unlivable wages and unfair treatment in the workplace. And while the pandemic surges on, the 1% continues to exploit working people for profits. Enough is enough: working Georgians deserve a living wage of at least $15/hour!

Atlanta DSA has been busy over the last couple months launching our campaign to Fight for $15 talking to working Georgians about the cost of living and why we need to fight for a living wage!

Atlanta DSA joined the Housing Justice League this past weekend to advocate for safe and affordable housing for all! A safe and sanitary place to live should be treated as a human right, guaranteed for all. Not a commodity to be bought, sold and priced based on the desires of wealthy institutions. Organizers met at Woodruff Park/and marched to the Capitol building to demand the repeal of the rent control ban.
