Yesterday, Gordon Sondland gave a bombshell public testimony before the House Intelligence Committee. He made clear that Donald Trump explicitly directed foreign policy professionals to work with Rudy Giuliani in an extortion effort against Ukraine, and that Mike Pence and Mike Pompeo were aware of this setup.

“Everyone was in the loop,” he said. “Was there a ‘quid pro quo?’...The answer is ‘yes.’”

After this testimony, it couldn’t be more clear cut.

The President has betrayed this country over and over again. He turned over our nation's foreign policy to a corrupt private citizen -- and he is using the presidency to advance his own political and financial interests.

Yet Roger Williams continues to put Trump's (and his own) corrupt interests before the people of Texas and before the Constitution.

And he's counting on the big money donors they share to keep him in office.
