We only have a few hours until our campaign’s first FEC deadline of the election year, and I wanted to check in with you before we get there to see if you can chip in $5 or more to get us to our ambitious goal.

Now that we’re 40 days from our primary, things are going to start heating up. You can bet my Republican opponent and his allies will be checking our fundraising numbers to see if we pose a real threat to his re-election. We need to show them that we do.
I’m running for Congress because I believe that our district deserves better than Don Bacon. Over the past two years of hardship, he has not been there for his constituents when we needed him most. He did not vote for shots in arms; he did not vote for stimulus checks; he did not vote for the child tax credit that is already changing the lives of Nebraska families. As the only candidate in this race raised in the district, I know that I will never forget where I come from or who I work for: the people.
