The hearings were an opportunity for senators to better understand the judicial philosophy and background of Judge Jackson, and while some took the opportunity to ask her relevant questions about the Constitution… Others… not so much. In fact, many extremist Republican senators decided that this was the perfect opportunity to go full QAnon and get their fifteen minutes of Fox News fame. Here are some of the most embarrassing moments from the hearings Ted Cruz Cruz went on a tirade attacking Critical Race Theory and badgered Judge Jackson on a concept that isn't even relevant to her work as a judge. Marsha Blackburn “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?” Blackburn's line of questioning was clearly meant to push anti-science rhetoric and make a good clip for the right-wing media. Lindsey Graham Quotes These senators are an embarrassment to our country, and even worse, they badgered Judge Jackson about her constitutional knowledge, while last year, on January 6, they condoned a full insurrection on the very democracy they swore to protect.
