When we launched our 36-hour end-of-quarter fundraising push this morning, we weren’t sure that we’d hit our grassroots contribution goal.

We knew that our incredible team of supporters all across the country had stepped up big at times like these before, but the truth is that we didn’t know what to expect.

But then Patricia, a piano teacher in Iowa, kicked us off with a $3 donation. A minute later, Joel in Arlington added their $5 too. Then came $35 more from Eileen in Norwood, Mass.

We were off to the races. A big step forward.

Right now, we have a chance to get where we need to be — so long as we keep up this pace. And with the clock still ticking before tomorrow’s midnight deadline, that means we have to ask:

Can Ed count on you to chip in your $3 contribution today? Our official FEC fundraising deadline ends at midnight TOMORROW, and we really can’t afford to fall short.
