Last week Twitter suspended our account. 

, Can you believe this?

Here are our benign tweets that caused the raucous:

-    ​“US Expected to Ban Imports of Russian Oil Today”
and:
-    “CDC no longer recommending contact training until further “high risk” setting. What’s next? 

We also re-tweeted Kevin Sorbo (Hercules actor and well-known conservative) who tweeted:
-     “If a government can suspend your rights any time it deems something is a crisis, you no longer have rights, you have permissions.”

Even Tesla founder Elon Musk recognizes a problem when he kicked things off last week with a Twitter poll, asking people whether they believe that Twitter "rigorously adheres" to the principle of free speech as "essential to a functional democracy." He asked his followers to "vote carefully," as the consequences of the poll "will be important."

With over 2 million votes, and most of his followers selecting "no" on the latest poll — meaning they don't believe that Twitter rigorously adheres to the principle of free speech being essential to a functional democracy — Musk asked, "Is a new platform needed?"

"Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy," Musk asked. "What should be done?"

What should be done? We also ask.
