Say No to Gambling Round 2

Leading up to Crossover Day a couple of weeks ago, we ramped up our opposition to gambling.

After we won that round, we warned you that more would be coming to resurrect the push to bring new forms of gambling to Georgia - whether that be horse racing, casinos, or sports betting.

Such an effort is currently underway, and we are encouraging you to speak out. In fact, should this effort pass, it would expand all forms of gambling. This is the behemoth gambling legislation.

Now, the feedback we have received so far is that our legislators are holding the line - opposing the move to expand gambling in our state.

TAKE ACTION TODAY TO ENCOURAGE YOUR LEGISLATOR TO STAND AGAINST GAMBLING EXPANSION.

Gambling has proven to promote addictive behavior, increase crime and human trafficking, and harm our economy. In fact, with mental health at the forefront of policy discussions, it is harmful to mental health and has been opposed on that ground.

So much good is happening for Georgia this legislative session. Let's not undermine those efforts by expanding gambling.

TAKE ACTION TO SAY NO TO GAMBLING EXPANSION.

We are committed to continuing to oppose these efforts - while supporting the good being done to reduce crime and human trafficking, advance our economy, and support solutions that serve the communities that need our help and support.

As we move toward the conclusion of session, we ask you to TAKE ACTION today and partner with us in ensuring we do not harm the other positive initiatives for our state.

Standing against gambling expansion,

Cole Muzio
