Team, did you see our last email below?

Two days ago we announced our End of Quarter fundraising goal to raise $12,731 by midnight on Thursday.

We’ve seen donations come in since then, but we really need to pick up the pace if we’re going to meet our goal. Can you chip in $5 to help us get there?

These End of Quarter goals are vital to the success and financial health of this campaign.

Goals like this one help us plan for the upcoming quarter so we know what we will be able to accomplish — and if we don’t meet this goal, our work could be massively slowed down over the next few months.

Without the resources we need, we will be hard-pressed to continue reaching out to voters, making sure John is able to travel around the district to attend events and meet constituents, and getting this campaign in front of people across TX-23.

In this critical general election, the last thing we need is a major slowdown of our work.

Will you jump on board now with a $5 donation to ensure we are able to meet our $12,731 goal and keep up our organizing efforts in the next quarter?

Let’s get to work,

Team Lira

Team,

March is wrapping up — that means we’re about to hit our first big End of Quarter deadline since winning the primary.

We’ve set a high bar for ourselves — we want to raise $12,731 by midnight on Thursday. Can you jump in now and contribute whatever you can towards our goal?

We’ve set a goal for this campaign that is both ambitious and specific, because we want you to know exactly where things stand for us.

We’ve calculated our goal based on three things:

1. What we'll need to start off this next quarter stronger than ever

There are a lot of eyes on this race, team, and they’ll be watching to see what our numbers look like going into our first full quarter after the primary. We need to send a message by starting off strong so we can show the power of this grassroots movement.

2. Preparing for any attacks from our opponent

This part of the race is where things can get messy and we need to be prepared to respond to any attacks that Tony Gonzales and the GOP might throw our way.

3. Costs for reaching voters on the ground

Moving forward, voter contact is the most important thing we can do — but this part of campaigning isn’t cheap. We need resources to be able to make phone calls, knock doors, attend events, pass out literature, and more.

In order to achieve our goals, we need your help to finish out this quarter strong and hit our $12,731 goal. If you have the means, will you donate now to help us gear up for the coming months?

Let’s get to work,

Team Lira
