Friend, all I have to say is WOW.

We were only given 10 days to collect 300 petition signatures, and between the crunch for time and a week of less-than ideal weather, my team was really scrambling to meet our goal before the deadline.

But neither rain nor wind nor freezing cold stood in this team’s way. You showed up for me in so many ways over the last week, from helping me sign and circulate petitions to spreading the word about my campaign with the people in your circles.

Because of you, I’m so proud — and incredibly grateful — to announce our team’s final petition count.

Our target was to collect 1,000 signatures before the deadline, but you all went above and beyond to help get me on the ballot! Friend, thank you so much for your unwavering support.

Last week, I personally knocked on 711 doors and collected 270 signatures from all around the district, including West Deer, Richland, Sharpsburg, Blawnox, Cheswick, Aspinwall, Springdale, and the city. Meeting so many new faces — and having some really great conversations along the way — was the highlight of my week!

Team, thank you again for helping me get on the ballot. I’m truly in awe of the sheer amount of people power we have on our team — we couldn’t have done this without you.
