This isn’t my first rodeo. I know what it takes to execute a winning campaign strategy.
Polling is clear – we can win but we need the right resources in the door. Even though folks know Clay’s name, they need to hear and see his vision for the district. Bottom line: if we run a robust outreach and media strategy we will secure victory.
But I have to be honest with you. I keep checking our budget and no matter how hard I try to make things add up, we simply don’t have the resources to start production on our advertising on April 1.
This is a huge problem. If production gets delayed, it will mean we will have to narrow our reach with our media buys.

As if stakes weren’t high enough – all the funding we have will be public knowledge once we file with the FEC on Thursday. We know the media, pundits, and our opponents will be scouring our report looking for any sign of weakness.
