Friend,

Medicaid, reproductive rights, and our democracy are all on the line this November.

Extremist officials in state legislatures across the country have brought forward restrictive measures to try and stop voters from using direct democracy to pass the policies that would better their quality of life.

Let me be clear: We’re taking these attacks on ballot measures as seriously as we take any other attack on our democracy. Full stop. That’s why we set an End-of-Quarter goal to raise $30,000 by March 31 to supercharge our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign. Will you chip in now to help us stop these attacks in their tracks? So far this year, we’ve already seen attacks by extremist state officials in Arizona, Arkansas, and Missouri — all legislatures where we’ve helped voters win life-changing campaigns and now they are trying to roll back progress.

“Today we saw the clearest illustration of what this is about… We had this bill pass that was very carefully crafted to make it harder for people to pass things at the ballot but still made it so that there’s an easier way to undo Medicaid expansion.”

— Rep. Peter Merideth, D-St. Louis., MO
St. Louis Dispatch

We refuse to sit by and watch as extremist legislators roll back our rights. If you’re with us, friend, will you join our efforts right away? Donate now to help us hit our $30,000 End-of-Quarter goal before March 31 and supercharge our Ballot Measure Rescue campaign as we fight to protect our democracy. [[link removed]]
