Hi Jack!

I’m so excited to be in this race for Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas.

My team and I are working hard to build the infrastructure for Democratic candidates who step up to run this cycle and in the future. (Our team is already phonebanking for our campaign, and we’re helping other candidates get their dialing systems set up, too.) 

Thanks to your support, we have an event and volunteer calendar in the works right now, so you can join us on the trail! Keep your eyes peeled, and we’ll let you know when it’s ready. In the meantime, we’ll be at the Democratic Party of Saline County Kickin’ Blue dinner this weekend. (And hopefully you can join us!)

But before I get more into the weeds about our future plans, I wanted to share some photos from the campaign trail with you from the past couple of months.

Loved getting fancy with Kev and the team on this campaign weekend. 

I so enjoyed the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus King Kennedy Awards dinner -- what a beautiful and inspiring evening to share with my team and my husband, Kevin.

Sitting in a room filled with hundreds of people honoring so many community activists who do amazing work each day was energizing. I’m so darn lucky to have the chance to lead alongside them and do great things for Arkansans together.

When I was in Little Rock (for the state basketball tourney), I stopped by Catholic High with a member of my crew to meet this engaged group of Young Dems.

Getting to meet bright future leaders fills me with so much joy -- because, as I say, if everyone does a little, then no one does a lot. And we’ve got a whole lot of work to do to make Arkansas and this world a better place.

The good people at the Arkansas BC Dems held space for me and the team earlier this month.

I’m so happy to have the opportunity to discuss my positions and plans for the future Lt. Gov’s office -- and, of course, hear from fellow Democrats about their concerns and hopes for our state.

The team was grateful to stand in solidarity with these students and will continue to use my voice to ensure we feel safe within our communities.

Team Kelly has several proud Razorbacks on the team, both alums, and current students.

So when we learned that student groups at the University of Arkansas were staging a sit-in to protest and condemn white supremacy and the spread of neo-Nazi posters on campus, we had to stand in solidarity.

Every student has the right to feel safe on campus -- and you can always count on the team and me to show up and advocate for students’ safety.
