Good morning! Two quick things before the day gets away:

1. As you may know, our people-powered campaign is funded by thousands of supporters like you chipping in small amounts. Our grassroots movement won a historic victory in 2020 raising $5, $10, and $25 at a time, and it’s still how we’re funding our organizing operations here in 2022.

2. The first FEC deadline of this critical midterm year is just 3 days away. When it’s over, we’re legally required to share our fundraising numbers — how much money we’ve raised so far, and how many contributions make up that total.

The truth is that we’re still pacing behind our goal for the month. Hitting our goal is essential if we’re going to continue building progressive power across the country ahead of the November elections, and the only way we do that is with lots and lots of grassroots support.

That support not only ensures we have what it takes to keep building our movement, but it also means Ed can focus on the important work we need him to do — not worry about fundraising and dialing for dollars all day like many others in Congress.

So will you please make a $3 contribution to help us close our fundraising gap before Thursday’s deadline? It’s our collective support that allows Ed to lead the fight for the Green New Deal and the rest of our progressive agenda in the Senate. [[link removed]]

The FEC deadline is going to be a big moment for us to show our strength, so thanks for making sure we're in as strong of a position as possible.
