If the wife or husband of a Supreme Court Justice nominated by a Democrat joined in a conspiracy to overthrow a free and fair American election. 



A conspiracy that led to a violent attack on the US Capitol. 



Imagine. 



Imagine their anger. 



Imagine their rage. 



Imagine Fox News. 



Now imagine that the wife of a Supreme Court Justice nominated by a Democrat texted the White House Chief of Staff dozens of times. 



Imagine she told him to overturn the election. 



Imagine she told him to ignore the vote… and just keep a Democratic President who lost an election in office. 



Now imagine that Supreme Court Justice was the one vote… the only vote… to protect the losing President. 



What would Republicans do? You know what they’d do. 



They’d demand that Justice step aside. Step down. They’d demand prosecution, impeachment, removal. 



Now imagine it’s Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. (Wait a second, I’m thinking we don’t have to imagine this)



Imagine she texts White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, saying “Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!! ... You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America's constitutional governance at the precipice.”



Imagine it was Clarence Thomas who cast that one vote to protect Trump’s illegal coup attempt. 



You don’t have to imagine it. 



Because it’s real.



You know what the GOP would do. 



This is how they’ll fight in 2022. They’re counting on you not to push back. Not to call their BS. To let them get away with it. 



The Lincoln Project will be in this fight because we know if we stop, they win. We’ll call out their lies, their cruelty, their conspiracies, and most of all will fight for victories in key elections across this country.
