Friend,

In just a few weeks, voters in Austin will head to the polls to consider Ground Game Texas’s ballot initiative to decriminalize marijuana and ban no-knock warrants in Austin. That’s a BIG deal.

But this ballot initiative election could be close—so we need your help to make sure it passes. We’re working to register as many voters as possible and mobilize them to support this initiative. Can we count on you to pitch in to help us pass our ballot initiative to decriminalize marijuana and ban no-knock police warrants in Austin? [[link removed]]

Friend, our ballot initiative will be on the citywide Austin ballot on May 7th. That means we have just TWO weeks to register voters and SIX weeks to mobilize them to get to the polls.

If we’re successful, marijuana possession in the city of Austin will be decriminalized, and dangerous no-knock police raids will be outlawed. This is a big step forward for justice in our city. We can end the war on drugs in our community and eliminate a dangerous police practice that takes far too many lives.

But to do that, we need your help. Our organizers are working hard to register thousands of voters and mobilize them behind this initiative. Can you help us make sure we’re successful in passing this initiative? [[link removed]]

Let's get this done,
