Earlier this month, I formally filed to be on the ballot for U.S. Senate. Then, just a few days later, the Des Moines Register released a brand-new poll showing that Sen. Grassley's facing RECORD-LOW APPROVAL!

Our campaign has more momentum than ever before, and we need to take advantage of it. That's why my team set a 24-hour goal to raise another $15,000. But with just hours before our 11:59 p.m. deadline, we're still $1,793 short.

Iowa's top pollster pointed to "weakness" in Sen. Grassley's polling numbers all the way back in November – but these new approval ratings are even worse for him. Iowans are turning away from Sen. Grassley and looking for new leadership like never before.

Don't get me wrong: filing to be on the ballot is a critical step and these numbers are a really big deal for our campaign, but this is about so much more than numbers or politics.
