The Supreme Court's decision this morning to functionally greenlight gerrymandering is another serious blow to our democracy.
Let me be clear: Gerrymandering is wrong whether it's undertaken by Democrats or by Republicans. But right now, it's the GOP who is systematically attacking the constitutional principle of one person, one vote -- in states across the country.
It is more important than ever that we as Americans, as protectors of democracy, redouble our efforts to reject partisan gerrymandering state-by-state.
And as we get to work in the states, it's also crucial that Congress takes action. That means we have to keep up the fight on the Senate floor -- and take it back for Democrats in 2020.
But I can only do that with your support. Before our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline Sunday, can you chip in $10 or more right now towards our fight to protect our Democracy?

The Supreme Court's second ruling today -- blocking President Trump's efforts to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census -- is good news.
But the ruling may only be a setback to the Trump administration's efforts to use fear to undercount immigrants and in particular the Latino community, all to draw maps more favorable for the Republicans.
Are you sensing a theme? Our nation is stumbling backwards as the GOP systematically attacks our democracy itself.
