THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO VOTE IN NC:
Did you know that turnout in recent midterm primary elections has only hovered around 10% of those registered to vote? Double your impact on the elections! Bring a friend to Early Voting to register and vote! Parents: bring your children to the polls to model good citizenship and the importance of voting in every election.
1. EARLY VOTING
You can register and vote the same day at any site in your county! More information on early voting sites and schedules is here.
- April 28: In-person Early Voting period begins
- May 14: Early voting ends at 3 PM
2. ELECTION DAY
You must already be registered to vote.
- April 22: Voter registration deadline for voting on May 17
- May 17: Primary Election Day
3. VOTE BY MAIL
To vote by mail, you can request your ballot here. The NC BOE has a tracking system for your mail-in ballot here.
- March 28: BOE to make absentee ballots available
- May 10: Deadline to submit an absentee ballot REQUEST form
