Friends,

Last week, the Office of Coastal Zone Management approved the final permit for the proposed Weymouth Compressor Station. It was just another action in a corrupt Baker administration that works for the fossil fuel industry rather than its constituents.

But the fight is not over. Tomorrow, Enbridge, the fossil fuel giant building the compressor station, is a lead sponsors of a fossil fuel industry conference in the Boston Seaport Hotel.

We must show up and let them know that they can't get away with building the compressor station. 350 Mass members will be picketing the conference from 12-3pm tomorrow, Wednesday Nov. 20. Can you join us? Email [email protected] to RSVP.

If you cant make it at those times, join our allies and other activists to picket during the day on Nov. 20 and 21. See Facebook for more details

See you in the streets,

Report from a Successful Mass Power Forward Lobby Day

Last Thursday, we headed to the State House to demand that our senators follow through on their promise to take bold climate action. We demanded environmental justice, a switch to 100% renewable energy, and equitable investment in green infrastructure. Because of our actions, the senators pledged to take action by the end of January 2020! Thanks to everyone who attended, talked to their representatives, and showed that our movement has remarkable people power.

Join the Clean Energy Caucus tomorrow at 11am in the State House Library for a press conference to continue the push for bold climate action!
