TEAM MIXON LIVE POLL:
Do you trust Senator Kennedy to put aside partisan politics and confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court?
Folks,
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s HISTORIC confirmation hearings began this morning.
If confirmed by the Senate, she will be the first African American woman to sit on the highest court in the land in its 233-year history.
Judge Jackson’s impeccable credentials and recent Senate confirmation to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals should make for a quick process. But we can’t trust Senator John Kennedy to get the job done.
Kennedy voted against advancing her D.C. Circuit Court nomination out of the Judiciary Committee and again voted against her confirmation in June 2021.
While President Joe Biden was searching for Justice Stephen Breyer's replacement, Senator Kennedy quipped, "I want a nominee who knows a law book from a J. Crew catalog."
And let’s not forget when Justice Amy Coney Barrett was in the hot seat, Kennedy asked softball questions like “do you hate little warm puppies?"
Folks, the bottom line is we can’t trust Senator Kennedy to deliver results for the American people. But we CAN replace Kennedy in November with Luke Mixon, a leader we can trust.
Luke is counting on supporters like you to join him in holding Kennedy accountable. Before midnight, tell us: Do you trust Senator Kennedy to put aside partisan politics and confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court?
Thanks for your input,
