John,
First Republicans manipulated the maps in states from Alabama to North Carolina to Ohio.
Then some of those maps were struck down by state Supreme Courts, leaving the GOP f-u-r-i-o-u-s.
Now they’ve taken a two-pronged approach to getting around those rulings:
→ Appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court, arguing that (GOP-controlled) state legislatures should be able to do whatever they want when it comes to elections.
→ Throwing money at electing handpicked state judges to get the decisions they want.
One thing is clear: The fight against gerrymandered maps is as important as ever. Will you help us keep fighting across the country?
