Did you see Mia’s email? Yesterday was a BIG day for our campaign– Mia *officially* filed to run for Governor of South Carolina!

We know St. Patrick’s Day is a day to feel lucky, but here on Team Mia, we know it’s going to take more than luck to win this election. That’s where you come in– We are less than three months away from our June primary, and we need you to pitch in as soon as possible so we can make the most use of these next few weeks.

Will you make a contribution of $20.22 today to make sure South Carolina has an opportunity to usher in real change this November?

Thanks for your help; I know it means the world to Mia to make this campaign official.

If you missed Mia’s email from yesterday, I’ve included it below.

With gratitude,

Heidi

SUBJECT: Together, we made history

, we have the power to transform South Carolina into a state where generation after generation can thrive. A South Carolina where a person’s future is brighter than their present, where young people want to stay and raise a family, and where we are all cared for, educated, and treated with dignity.

That's why today, I officially filed my paperwork to run for Governor of South Carolina.

I am so grateful for the many friends and family members who joined me today, and it reminded me of the historical significance of this moment. Movements are always powered by the people, and as I file to be the first Black woman Governor of South Carolina, I am honored to have so many supporters from across the state who believe in my vision for our state and know that I have the track record to deliver.

With much gratitude,

Mia
