Preparing for Victory!!!

The RPT-VEP has already swung into action undertaking the initial steps necessary for victory in November 2020. In order to ensure we keep Texas red, it is important that we begin now to build up the party’s infrastructure. This includes: recruiting volunteers, registering voters, organizing events, assisting our auxiliaries, and laying the groundwork for our Get Out The Vote effort next year.

As a key supporter of our party, we want to make sure you are kept apprised of our efforts. We invite you to participate and are here to answer any of your questions. The following is a report of our activities since our last newsletter.

National Day of Action

On November 2nd the RPT-VEP helped organize a "National Day of Action" which included trainings at seven different locations around the state for "Super Volunteers." These are Republican activists who have committed to take a leadership role with the party on a volunteer basis. "Super Volunteers" will be assigned a team of regular volunteers to oversee and lead. The trainings taught volunteers how to use the Advantage app to cut walk-books for door knocking, make calls on Red Dialer, and best practices for voter contact. On November 2nd the RPT-VEP staff and "Super Volunteers" knocked on 1,567 doors!

Williamson County: There was standing room only for the Williamson County Day of Action. RPT-VEP staff gave a presentation on grassroots activism before volunteers hit the streets to put their canvassing skills to use!

Harris County: In addition to Advantage training, our staff presented on the importance of Republican voter turnout for the 2020 election cycle. Harris County volunteers also spent the afternoon block-walking to register Republican voters.

Tarrant County volunteers trained and ready to take on 2020!

Trump Rally

The RPT-VEP staff assisted the Trump campaign at the Dallas Rally. We provided seven staff members to register voters and help staff the event. The rally was a tremendous success with tens of thousands in attendance, resulting in an overflow crowd. The RPT-VEP is helping follow up with Trump Supporters who attended the rally and are not currently registered to vote. To date, several thousand attendees have requested registration forms.

10K 4 10R

RPT-VEP announced several months ago its new program 10K 4 10R which stands for recruiting 10,000 volunteers to follow up with 10 unregistered Republicans. The goal is to add 100,000 new Republicans to the rolls. As of November 18 the RPT-VEP has already recruited 1,765 volunteers.
