I stand with President Biden in condemning Vladimir Putin’s unprovoked and unjust war against Ukraine.

Whether domestically or abroad, attacks on freedom and democracy should not be tolerated. The people of Ukraine deserve their freedom and democracy, and we should all stand united against Russia’s immoral actions.

Yesterday, as part of the Fiscal Year 2022 omnibus appropriations bill, I was proud to vote for $13.6 billion in humanitarian and security aid for Ukraine.

As we hold Putin and Russian military forces accountable for their unprovoked aggression, I also wanted to take a moment to share how our grassroots movement can take action and support those impacted by this ongoing war.

In recent weeks, millions of families have been displaced, forced to flee, or have become victims of violence. Several nonprofit organizations are working on the frontlines to protect the most vulnerable communities and need support. If you can, please take a moment to pitch in to support their efforts.

Ukrainian Red Cross is providing first aid to all people in need in areas where access to medical services are limited.

Voices of Children is providing non-stop emergency psychological assistance to affected children and families from all over Ukraine.
