Dear John,

We're excited to tell you about the work we've been doing to build power
and justice for migrants and immigrants through narrative!

Race Forward's Butterfly Lab for Immigrant Narrative Strategy

[link removed]

was launched in 2020 to build power for effective narratives that honor
the humanity of migrants, refugees, and immigrants, and advance freedom
and justice for all.

From July 2020 - October 2021, we brought together a select cohort of
sixteen leaders from organizing, advocacy and the arts to prototype
immigration narrative projects that meet the challenges of our current
political moment.

To celebrate our accomplishments and give you a preview of what we have
in store, we would like to invite you to a special event, featuring Jose
Antonio Vargas, Cristina Jiménez, Aisha Shillingford, Omar Offendum,
Christina Patiño-Houle, Mónica Ramírez, Jeff Chang, and more!

A Future for All of Us: Narrative Strategy for the Immigrant Movement

Tues, March 15th

10am-11am PT / 1-2pm ET

Join us to hear from these leading immigrant narrative leaders on how
the Butterfly Lab for Immigrant Narrative Strategy is building narrative
power and aligning narrative strategy for the migrant and immigrant
justice movement. We'll share what we've done together, our findings and
toolkit, and where we are headed.

This event also marks the launch of our Chrysalis Lab

, in which we will make four $80K grants to innovative, at-scale
narrative projects.

In addition to the Chrysalis Lab, we will be offering training in
narrative strategy and design this year to anyone who wants to advance
pro-immigrant narratives.

To learn more, visit us at our newly relaunched webpages here.
