Dear Friend,

It's another big week for our re-election campaign! In just 69 days, the first ballots will be mailed out to voters in Ward 6 and I'm very proud of how we're working to share our achievements and our vision for our community. We are also just 48 hours away from the next big fundraising deadline. Can I ask you to chip in $10 and make sure your name is on the list we report?

I also wanted to share a few other quick campaign updates with you!

Later this week, I'll be filing almost three times the required number of signatures to get on the ballot. A huge thanks to all the volunteers that have helped us gather such a big number. And of course, thank you all for signing! It's been great talking to so many neighbors these past few weeks out at markets and parks around Ward 6.

Just like those spring flowers, our re-election yard signs are starting to pop out of the ground! They're a great way to show your support. Can you put one in your yard? If so, we can have someone from the campaign drop one by at your house. Click here to request one.

I'm excited to share that I've earned the early endorsement of the Sierra Club's DC Chapter. Thank you! On the Council, I've been a strong leader in pushing our city to take more bold action to battle climate change and invest in our renewable and sustainable energy future. We also know it's time to act now to protect the health of our rivers and air, and whether in legislation, oversight, or budget investments, I'll continue to lead.
