March Madness is coming up and a bunch of us here at HQ are getting excited to fill out our brackets this weekend. I actually won my friendly bracket pool last season (totally by luck) so we at the campaign office thought it would be fun to have a little tournament of our own.
I know the Triangle well, and I know many of you… but I still have a lot to learn. I wanna take every opportunity to listen, learn, and make a real impact. And on the big decisions facing our community, your voice matters the most to me. So we’ve created an issues survey for y’all to fill out — because I want to know what your priorities are.
To add a bit of fun, we’ve made it a bracket! To be clear, all these issues are serious and need to be addressed by our elected leaders. There are some tough head-to-head matchups below... eager to see your thoughts on what you feel is a top priority facing our community.

Take this short survey to tell us which political issue is YOUR top priority… and let’s see which one wins! [[link removed]]

These are serious issues — all of which absolutely must be addressed. But I hope you’ll join us in turning hard conversations into some community-building. If we wanna bring compassion and civility back to North Carolina politics, we’re gonna need to find some joy along the way.
So Happy March Madness from Team Clay to you! Please take a couple minutes to fill out our issues survey, and when it comes to 🏀, whether you're rooting for the Blue Devils, the Tar Heels, a Cinderella team, or just hoping your bracket doesn’t get busted, I hope you have some fun this month. — And maybe we’ll see a North Carolina team take home the title again!🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
