People often ask me how a U.S. Marine with an MBA and doctorate degree in International Business with a background in technology and cybersecurity became interested in politics… And the truth is, it’s not politics I’m interested in.

For me, it’s always been about problem-solving. From a young age, my interest was in policy — which is different from politics.

Policy focuses on assessing information, utilizing resources, and implementing standards and processes to develop practical solutions. When I tell this to folks, it makes a lot more sense given my solutions-based and data-driven approach. And how do you have an impact on policy? Politics, of course.

Still to this day, my ultimate goal is to apply my experience, expertise, and skills towards developing innovative and logical elections and business solutions that will help as many people as possible. I believe that politics needs to be more focused on policy, rather than the divisive games that it has been in recent years. It's time for fresh leadership; it's time for change in Georgia politics.
