Hi Higb,

Today, we are holding a joint petitioning drive, in the 43rd Assembly District, for Jelanie DeShong, who is running for the State Assembly, and Akel Williams, who is running for District Leader.

BYD's members endorsed Akel and Jelanie because they have each demonstrated progressive leadership and delivered results.

Jelanie is on the ballot for the upcoming Special Election on March 22nd. We need to make sure that he receives all of the support he can. If you're not sure what district you live in, find your poll site ([link removed]) and get involved today!

With your help, we can get both of these candidates on the ballot for the June primary! We look forward to seeing Young Dems hitting the pavements for our endorsed candidates this season!
