John, As the only openly gay man in this tight primary race for Lieutenant Governor, Brian is running to give Pennsylvania’s LGBTQ+ community a seat at the table. “Our community – like many other communities – is tired of being approached by allies for our votes only around election time when it’s most convenient… We need elected officials who’ve stood with the community before the campaign season, and will still be here after election day. That’s why I’m running for Lieutenant Governor.” Brian is a leading advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and served as a civil rights attorney before taking his fight to the General Assembly. His schedule has been packed with meeting supporters across the state, fighting for his constituents in Harrisburg, and so much more, so we wanted to give him a special surprise.
