It's not every day that we see an insurrection incited by sitting members of our government that nearly topples our democracy. But, since the day of the coup, the January 6 commission has been hard at work to uncover the lies of Trump and the Treason caucus and expose the truth.
We're glad to see that some members of government still value accountability and justice over party and dogma. But sadly, the members of the Treason Caucus remain in power, while Donald Trump has called his followers to retaliate en masse if he is brought to justice.
With the Republican National Committee officially naming the events of January 6 as "legitimate political discourse," it seems like the republican establishment is trying to diminish and even erase the effects and pain of January 6.
