Citizens for Schimpf

Friend,

We hope this week treated you well.? The two big political topics this week were the State of the Union Address and the federal indictment of former Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan.

In a SOTU speech that will be quickly forgotten, President Biden addressed very little of the concerns that are on the minds of Americans.? He said practically nothing about crime, the border, or inflation.? All signs indicate that his failed presidency will lead to a Republican wave in November.

The big Illinois political news was the indictment of Mike Madigan.? Former Speaker Madigan enabled the rise of JB Pritzker.? Speaker Madigan and the political class that he embodies are why Illinois voters are ready for commonsense leadership they can trust.

Also this week, I had the opportunity to spend some time discussing my campaign with Vanessa Wetterling at WRAM.? You can listen to my interview on WRAM by clicking HERE. ? ??
