Keep The Momentum Going.

Our campaign for State Assembly may be over, but the work to fight for San Francisco continues.

Many volunteers have asked how they can continue to remain involved in civic engagement outside of a campaign. One of the best ways - join your local Democratic Club or Advocacy Group!

Being a club member is a great way to meet your neighbors, engage in civic events, and maintain a pulse on issues affecting your community. It also gives you a direct voice to endorse candidates in future elections.

Here are some clubs I'd recommend.
Chinese American Democratic Club: One of the oldest democratic clubs, they focus on advancing Chinese American representation through voter registration and racial and economic justice initiatives.

Eastern Neighborhood Democratic Club
: Local democratic club focusing on Districts 3, 6, and 10 (from North Beach to SOMA to India Basin!), hosts regular community cleanups and issue based forums focused on urbanism, environmental and social-equity topics.

Ed Lee Democratic Club: A club focused on the AAPI community, they help young AAPI individuals get engaged in the political process as well as host some fun movie nights (like the Shang Chi premiere!)

Families for San Francisco: A political movement of parents and youth organizing to advocate on behalf of ways to improve our public school system.

Grow SF: A community of San Franciscans looking to build a more inclusive and live-able city through advocating for small business, housing, and car-free cities.

Noe Valley Democratic Club: The official Democratic club of Noe Valley, they host community events, forums, and social gatherings (often in the beautiful Noe Valley Town Square!)

San Francisco Women's Political Committee: An organization that champions policies and candidates to advance intersectional feminism, racial justice and gender equity.

SWANA Democratic ClubA grassroots club representing Arab, Southwest Asian, and North African communities in SF, often mobilizing merchants and small businesses, helping with voter registration, and increasing representation.

YIMBY ActionA political advocacy group fighting for abundant, affordable housing and inclusive sustainable communities, regularly organizing to fight for housing legislation.

Sincerely.
