TROY TOWNS FORMER VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE ALGOP AND FORMER CHAIRMAN OF THE MINORITY GOP ENDORSES DEAN ODLE FOR GOVERNOR OF ALABAMA

OPELIKA, ALA --- On Monday, February 28, 2022 the former Vice Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party and former Chairman of the Minority Republican Party endorsed 2022 gubernatorial candidate Dean Odle. Towns said in his video endorsement: “…we’re in a point in time in this state, we’re looking at what’s going on in the world, what’s going on in Russia, what’s going on in this nation, how socialism is trying to take over. And it’s so important during this time that we have someone who is over our state who is not status quo, who is not the same good ole boy network. We need someone different. We need someone that has been ordained by God to be the governor of our state. As I think about, I’ve been involved in politics a long time, I’m the former Vice Chairman of the state Republican Party. I’ve been a part of Republican politics for a very, very long time. I’ve had a lot of speaking engagements over the years. I’ve seen the ins and the outs of what this is and what our party is. But sometimes God gives us an opportunity, He presents someone there, we have to know, we have to be able to discern when God has put someone here that is the right person at the right time. I think God did that with President Trump a few years ago and I think He’s doing the same thing, the very same thing right now in the state of Alabama and I believe Dean Odle is that person.” Towns went on to say of Odle, “…he’s not from the good ole boy network, he didn’t come up through that network just like Trump didn’t. And because of that a lot of people don’t like him. But I tell you he’s a man that has a heart for this state. He knows what needs to be done, he’s going to do it the right way. I’ve been knowing the man for many, many years. He’s a man of integrity. I’ve never seen anything but integrity, if he tells you something you can bank on it. So listen, I’m Troy Towns, like I said, the former Vice Chair of the state Republican Party, I’m a pastor of a small church in Montgomery now and I am voting, I’m giving my 100% support and endorsement to this man, Dean Odle.”
