Hi there,

Marie Yovanovitch, former ambassador to Ukraine, is currently testifying before Congress, and she is not holding back. In her opening statement, she harshly criticized Trump for his hollowing out of the State Department, weakening our country's interests at home and abroad. Additionally, she placed blame squarely on the president for broadcasting globally exactly how to pressure him into subverting those trying to fight corruption.

Trump has -- as per usual when facing criticism from a woman -- taken to Twitter to smear Ambassador Yovanovitch to distract from her searing testimony. Democrats in the House are moving forward and pursuing justice while Republicans refuse to acknowledge the legitimacy of the inquiry and continue trying to convince the electorate -- by seeing who can yell the loudest -- that this is a "witch hunt" and nothing more.
