Friend,

This past week was an exciting one for our campaign as our second TV commercial went on the air.? In contrast to the other campaigns that are offering Illinois voters division and outrage, we are proposing solutions that can unify our state.? If you haven't seen our second TV commercial yet, you can watch it here <[link removed]>.?? ??

Volunteer of the Week

Our volunteers to highlight this week are Adam and Michele Clemen from Naperville, who are parade walkers and petition circulators.? Both are active not only in the Naperville Township GOP organization, but also in Naperville civic groups that support veterans. Thank you to the Clemens for all their work, both in and out of politics, to make our state a better place!

Social Media Spotlight

Republican candidates often wonder whether social media platforms are suppressing Republican content. This week Facebook removed all doubt when they added a COVID-19 pop-up to discourage sharing of our second TV commercial. Our Facebook post responding to this is below. Remember, our TV commercial DID NOT contain a single word or reference to the pandemic.

If you think this action by Facebook was unfair, you can counteract them by commenting, sharing, or liking the original post by clicking HERE <[link removed]>.

Get Involved

We are still going to petition signing events.? The picture below was taken this week in Westmont.? If you'd like a campaign sign delivered to you, send an email to [email protected] and we will get you one!

Petitions are pouring into our campaign office, but we still need whatever you can obtain for us.? We want to turn in the maximum amount in order to discourage any petition challenges.? Again, you can?click hereto download our petition. <[link removed]>?? Mail completed, notarized petition forms to Citizens for Schimpf, PO Box 16, Waterloo, IL? 62298 or you can call (618) 939-4262 to arrange a drop-off.? During the weekend of March 5th, we will be binding and assembling our package for turn in.??

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend,?

Paul
