Truth to Power’s fundraising has slowed down lately,
John. I know there are lots of
candidates and organizations asking for donations, but I want to tell you
why now is one of the most critical times for our fundraising. 

We just endorsed three outstanding candidates who will speak truth to
power in Congress: Dr. Yadira Caraveo, Jessica Cisneros, and Quaye
Quartey. If they can win their competitive races, they’ll join me in the
fight to lower costs for families, protect the environment, and hold the
powerful accountable. I want to be able to set them up for success, but I
can’t do it alone. 

Truth to Power’s support will help our candidates hire staff, run ads, and
start reaching out to voters. The sooner they can do this, the better.
Election Day may seem far away on a calendar, but with the amount of work
our candidates still have to do to reach voters and organize their
communities, we can’t slow down. In fact, Jessica Cisneros’ primary
election is next week! Our support in this final stretch couldn’t be more
critical.
