Happy Go Texan Day, everyone!
Here in Houston, today is the day to break out the cowboy boots and get excited for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, but that’s not the only big thing coming up in Texas in the next few days.
Tuesday is Primary Day in Texas! That means this is the final weekend before the election and it is time to Get Out The Vote! Team Lizzie will be hard at work knocking on doors, handing out campaign literature, and making phone calls to talk with as many voters in our district as we can ahead of the primary. (It’s a big task because 70% of our district is new after redistricting!)

Our team set a goal to raise $10,000 by Primary Day so we have the resources for the final stretch before the election.
