John,
I’m thrilled that President Biden just announced Ketanji Brown Jackson as his Supreme Court nominee!
Not only will Judge Jackson make history as the first Black woman to ever serve on the Supreme Court, but she is also an intellectual heavyweight and highly regarded jurist who has dedicated her life and career to the service of others. I applaud President Biden for making history with this nomination, and I look forward to the Senate’s speedy confirmation of Judge Jackson.
Ketanji Brown Jackson has years of experience and is committed to upholding our fundamental rights. John, will you join me in calling on the Senate to act with urgency to confirm President Biden’s nomination?

As the far-right supermajority on the Court works to subvert our democracy and unravel fundamental freedoms like a woman’s right to choose, Judge Jackson will be a powerful champion for justice, equality, and the rule of law. A former public defender with a brilliant intellect and track record of public service, Judge Jackson is eminently qualified to serve on the Court and will bring a unique perspective and voice to the bench, one that has been missing for far too long.
I also remain clear-eyed about the continued threat the far-right, 6-3 majority on the Court poses to our democracy and fundamental freedoms. While Judge Jackson will bring a much-needed voice to the bench, her nomination will not change the balance of power on the Court. The only way to restore integrity to the Supreme Court is to expand it. Congress must do exactly that, before it’s too late.
Before the day is over, sign on to urge the Senate to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first Black woman in our nation’s history to the Supreme Court. [[link removed]]
