Hey John, we shared some big news with you last week. We want to let you know what’s coming up next for us.
Gun violence is steadily on the rise, but President Biden has yet to put forward a national plan to address the increasing number of gun deaths under his administration. Next week on March 1, President Biden will address the nation during the State of the Union, and we want to take this opportunity to address him ourselves. We’re hoping to get the President’s attention by holding a massive banner outside the U.S. Capitol on the day of the State of the Union.
John, can you help cover the costs of our banner so we can get President Biden’s attention and urge him to act on gun violence ASAP?
Our goal is to get President Biden to directly address the ongoing gun violence epidemic during the State of the Union. We know Republicans in Congress have stalled progress on the legislative front, so our only way to address this critical issue is through swift action from the executive branch. That’s why we’re urging the Biden Administration to put forth a national plan to address the rampant gun violence across our nation.
Last week, we showed you what your support allows us to do, and now we’re hoping to do the same next week at the SOTU. John, we hope we can count on your support to help us get President Biden’s attention next week.
Thanks for your continued support,
