Never Again PAC is an organization focused on causing social change through grassroots mobilization. But we weren't the first ones to do this and we can't let the month of February go by without honoring the Black activists that laid the pathway for the social movements of today and of the future.
From Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Marsha P. Johnson to the great John R. Lewis, our civil rights are the product of the blood, sweat, and tears of Black innovators and activists. Sadly, in the 21st century, racial injustice still exists and is being actively perpetrated by the members of the Treason Caucus and with them, the Republican establishment.
The NAACP was born out of the urgent need for a civil rights organization during the Jim Crow era, and to this day, it continues to be the home of grassroots activism for civil rights and social justice.
Today, in honor of Black History Month, our ask of you will be simple: donate whatever you can to the NAACP to help them continue their mission to fight for the political, educational, social, and economic equality rights of all persons to be protected and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.
Remember, the Treason Caucus is actively working to suppress the voices accurately depicting the racism of the past and the present. Civil rights organizations like the NAACP are vital to the political landscape of today to ensure that the clock of progress doesn't move backward or is erased entirely.
So today, will you rush a donation to the NAACP to help them fight for a society where all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred or discrimination?
