I can’t get past the RNC labeling the January 6th insurrection as “legitimate political discourse.”

Let’s not kid ourselves. This was a violent assault on our democracy and American values fueled by lies from elected leaders like Senator John Kennedy.

The angry mob stole. They looted. They rioted. They injured over 140 police officers. Yet, they believe it was nothing more than “legitimate political discourse”?

And to make matters worse, Sen. Kennedy didn’t just spread a dangerous lie, but he threw even more fuel on the fire with his vote to overturn a free and fair election just HOURS after the violence.
